This page explains what information we collect through this website and our projects, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We’re a small Palm Coast business, and we try to collect only what we need to answer you and do the work.
Who we are
As-Built Design Studio is a fictitious name (DBA) of TheRedCottage.com Design, LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Palm Coast, FL 32137. “We,” “us” and “our” on this page mean that company.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use the estimate or contact form, or email or call us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, the type of client you are, the property location, and details about your project.
Basic server logs. Like most websites, our host (Cloudflare) automatically records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. We don’t use this to identify individual visitors.
Project information. If you hire us, we also handle project information such as 3D scans, photos, measurements, drawings, models and files you provide.
We don’t have user accounts, we don’t take payments on this website, and we don’t run advertising.
Cookies and analytics
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you across other websites, and doesn’t give us information that identifies you. If our approach changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update this page.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them.
How we use it
- To reply to your questions and estimate requests and prepare quotes.
- To plan, carry out and deliver your project, and to communicate with you about it.
- To keep basic business records.
- To keep the website running and secure.
We don’t use your information for anything unrelated to these purposes, and we don’t send marketing lists.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We share it only with service providers we need to run the website and deliver our work:
- FormSubmit.co, which passes form submissions from the website to our email.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website.
- Matterport, which hosts 3D scans and tours.
- Google Workspace, which provides our business email.
These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also share information when you ask us to (for example, sending drawings to your builder or designer), or if the law requires it.
Scan data and project files
Scans, tours, drawings, models and other files from your project are kept confidential and used only for your project.
- Matterport tours are shared only as you direct, for example with your designer, builder or listing agent.
- Anyone viewing a tour on Matterport is also subject to Matterport’s own terms and privacy policy.
- We only show a project in our portfolio with your permission. Portfolio photos show completed work and general locations only (such as “Northeast Florida”), never a street address.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails and form messages as long as needed to respond and for normal business records. We keep project files for as long as needed to finish the project and for a reasonable period afterward, so we can help with revisions or questions, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see “Your choices” below).
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, such as using reputable service providers and limiting who can access project files. No website, email or storage system is perfectly secure, though, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Please don’t send highly sensitive information (like financial account numbers) through the website form.
Your choices
You can email us at BrianE@As-BuiltDesignStudio.com to ask to see the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We’ll do our best to help, though we may need to keep some records if the law requires it or if they’re part of a project agreement.
Children
This website is for homeowners and professionals. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, let us know and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
